
When Isuzu asked its ad agency to produce an owner communication
newsletter, DMB&B tapped Regis Communications to help with the task.
Because the Isuzu owner body is so cohesive and similar in needs, Regis
decided to produce a quarterly newsletter that would address the concerns
of all owners rather than taking a phased, highly-targeted approach, as
they had done for Pontiac.
The newsletter included information about Isuzu engineering and technology,
and also gave owners tips on matters such as four-wheel-driving skills
and proper care of tires and front-wheel-drive components. While the newsletter
emphasized the global personality of Isuzu vehicles, it also cultivated
a personal relationship with its customers through a regular "Dialogue"
column. Regis Communications produced all the copy for the newsletter as
well as the photography and overall design.
