Click on the above picture to see an overview video presentation of Phase One (requires Quicktime 7).

It shows the homes that have been refurbished on the street, interviews with some of the staff that are directing the rebuilding, and some "thank you's" from a few people that received a computer.

WANT TO HELP?

Phase One is complete and I am beginning to collect computers and accessories for 'Phase Two'.

If you would like to donate (tax deductible) a computer and/or 'accessory,' please contact me. At this point, I am looking for PowerPC's (6000/7000/8000/9000 series Macs), G3's and G4's---desktops, towers, and portables. (I was an Apple dealer in the 90's and have a lot of 'spare parts' I can use in refurbishing).

OTHER WAYS TO HELP
As the video presentation mentions, there are many way you can help us with this 'work':

  • Well, first off, if you are in the Detroit metro area, you can donate you time by helping with a variety of jobs that are needed to be done on Seneca Street---from 'simple' jobs like cleaning windows or landscaping to carpentry, dry wall, plumbing, electrical, and other specialized construction skills
    Volunteer Information
  • You can donate your talents or networking connections in helping Grace Centers or myself in getting items donated or at a reduced price
  • Donate furniture---like desks and chairs---so I can have something to put the computers on
  • You can purchase the CDs produced by the "Men of Grace"
    Purchase Online
  • You can mention this 'project' to other people---it is just amazing what can be done when many people each do just a small thing.
